Over the past four years P.S. 234 has seen $1,000,000 in budget cuts from the D.O.E.

The P.S. 234 PTA has NO surplus.

The D.O.E. permits class sizes for grades 1 to 5 to be at 32 students. PTA funds support smaller class sizes by supplementing the P.S. 234 D.O.E. budget.

$785.00 is the amount it costs the PTA to supplement each child in the school.
